About Darren Smith - Kinesiologist in Littlehampton
Darren trained and completed his foundation training, becoming a Kinesiologist in August 2017 and has then gone on to complete his practitioners training in Applied Systematic Kinesiology. This system uses gentle but effective muscle tests, that ask the body questions ie: Where is the pain coming from? Why do you have this uncomfortable feeling? What nutrition are you lacking and where do you need it?
Darren loves seeing how kinesiology can help people get their lives back on track, living the life they want and deserve. The body is an amazing healer, however sometimes it needs a gentle nudge in the right direction, and using Applied Kinesiology (AK) techniques this can be achieved.
Outside of his kinesiologist work, Darren likes to keep fit going to the gym, dancing, playing golf and spending time at home with his partner, family and friends.
Patients will seek the help of a Kinesiologist for:
- Digestive health
- Immune conditions
- Chronic pain
- Weight issues
- Adrenal fatigue
- Viral fatigue
- Muscular concerns
- Hormonal imbalances
- Some learning conditions
- And so much more...
Due to its wide range of techniques and depth of detection, it is able to identify the cause and origin of symptoms, which can profoundly impact a vast range of conditions or health concerns.
What is Kinesiology?
The role of a kinesiologist is to help encourage optimal function of the body systems, e.g. digestion, endocrine, nervous, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, reproductive, renal and skeletal and how they are functioning individually as well as how they impact and work with the other systems. This is done through testing different muscle circuits by checking specific movement which indicates how that neurological circuit fires or whether it is interrupted. Although it is often thought of as muscle testing it is essentially working on our neurological pathways and their biofeedback mechanism.
