HYPNOTHERAPY

Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of hypnosis and can best be described as a state of "altered awareness", a sort of guided day dreaming. In this state of relaxed awareness the client finds it very much easier to concentrate effectively and intensely, without fear and without anxiety upon the condition to be overcome. The client always feels in control and can leave the hypnotic state at any time, just as easily as he or she entered it. Feelings vary from person to person but one will almost certainly experience a feeling of deep relaxation, coupled with an awareness of everything that is going on. This awareness is most essential since the client and the therapist work together to achieve results.
