T'AI CHI

Description

T'ai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise system for body, mind and spirit.

It is a self-healing art and a way of finding tranquillity through graceful, fluid movement. The cardinal principle of T'ai Chi is Relaxation.

T'ai Chi is performed with an upright but relaxed spine. It promotes health and relaxation through exercises, which are executed precisely, and uses both surface and deep muscles of the body.

Students learn a 'form' - a particular sequence of movements.

Benefits

T'ai Chi is an excellent antidote to stress, it developes an understanding of energy and balance. It may help with back problems and headaches.
