FIRST AID FOR COMPLEMENTARY THERAPISTS AIM OF THE COURSE
This is a four hour course specially designed for existing or newly qualified complementary therapists who do not hold a recognised certificate in First Aid. Therapists who wish to apply for Confirmation of Professional Standards in Reflexology set by the Association of Reflexologists who do not hold a first aid certificate will need to attend this course. Therapists wishing to renew their first aid certificate may also wish to attend. The course will give you the confidence and first aid skills necessary should you find yourself having to administer first aid during a therapy treatment or while at your place of work. Expert training is delivered by Tony Gilbert of Just First Aid. Tony is a recognised paramedic in West Sussex. He has been a qualified State Registered Paramedic since 1993 and has extensive knowledge and real life experience of acute illness and injury. He joined the Ambulance Service in 1988 and has been a First Aid trainer and assessor for St.John Ambulance for over 15 years. An increasing number of associations and membership bodies now require members to have first aid training in order to obtain insurance.
